Head Start East Closed Until November 1
Posted on 10/21/2021
Exclamation pointFor the health and safety of students, Head Start Learning Center East (Bellevue location) will be temporarily closed starting Thursday, October 21, 2021. The decision to temporarily close is due to the number of students and staff who are testing COVID+, symptomatic, or needing to quarantine due to a close contact.

Students will be able to return to the school on Monday, November 1, 2021, as long as they do not have any other factors that would require them to quarantine for a longer period of time, for example living in the same household with a COVID-19 positive family member. If your child is unable to return to the classroom on November 1, you will be notified individually by the school nurse or contact tracer.

Your child’s teacher(s) will be assigning schoolwork for your student to do from home. They will also be in contact within the next day or two with additional information regarding classroom instruction during the temporary school closure. Please check your email or texts frequently for updates.

Meals can be picked up from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Door 4, starting October 25 - 28, 2021.

If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact Andrea Landwehr at allandwehr@gbaps.org or 920-615-3911.
